this is it

Usually, being busy is exhausting.

Driving towards Echo Park, I realize that I've been so busy lately, that there has been no room for worrying, for excessive consideration. I just do. I'm constantly caught in the moment and its much, much easier.

I often think too much about tomorrow, about 30, or 40. Planning for the future often ends up being an excuse - it helps us stay a safe distance from who we are. And I hate playing it safe. Besides, its really more tiring to obsess about what's going to happen, than to be busy making it happen.

So, this is it. There is no beginning and there will be no idyllic end. Now, is all I have, so I better give it all I've got. I'm happy to be busy =)
