thank you, veteran

I'm glad to have the day off tomorrow.

After school, over drinks with my teacher friends, I wondered with them, "What will you be doing tomorrow?"

- sleep in
- move
- plan a history lesson
- don't know
- grade
- write a novel
- decide what to do with...THE REST OF MY LIFE

I will likely do a variation of all of the above. What I most want to do is write the novel.

I didn't know National Novel Writing Month is well, this month, but hey its only November 10th. Even if I knew on October 31st about nanomo I probably would have procrastinated for 10 days. THINKING about it. Deep thinking. Serious thinking. Rear end someone while driving home thinking.

But I did do the Serious Thinking about my Future Novel while Driving home, tonight. And simply because I'm considering the deadline of writing 50,000 words by the end of November, it was all I could think about on the drive home. Deadlines are miraculous.

So I think I'm going to write tomorrow. Start writing the novel.
