
Sakura blossoms are breathtaking. I would much rather be in Nariwa today, sitting underneath a sakura tree, eating my bento and enjoying some peace and quiet. I'd rather be out of the country traveling, meeting new people, learning another language.
That's a horse for you - that's what my family always says. And I take it as a compliment that they associate me with my sign in the Chinese zodiac. Roaming, exploring, galloping from place to place, free.
So, it's raining in Los Angeles today. How gloomy. I feel gloomy and definitely do not feel my usual, cheerful, explorative self. No worries though. Give me a day or two and I'll fill you in on my adventures this past weekend - the habanero man and tecate.
