Surfing, is on my mind.
I've met not one, but two surfers. And. They are both nice teachers. Whom I work with. This is a sign, from the ocean and the moon, to buy a wetsuit and a surfboard.
Really? This is what I'm asking myself too, but actually, I think, yes. Why not?
There's something very appealing about leaving the comforts of my beach towel and having a reason to dive into the Pacific. I am scared though. How cold will it be? What if I'm knocked unconscious by my surfboard? Will the sharks think I'm a baby seal? Will I drown? I imagine myself, tiny dot on the water, bobbing up and down, holding on desperately to my board.
I'm going to do it! I will take up the offer to learn how to surf from my new friends before it becomes too cold. I love being inspired by the people I meet. This is also how I became a marathoner. One day a friend just said, "Want to train for a marathon with me?" And I said, "Yes."
Yes, is nice. As is serendipity.
